The engine timing in racing engines is one of the most important factors in setting the proper power band for each engine or mode.

A GSXR 600 engine mounted in a dirt carcross is not the same as the same engine mounted in a track bike. Torque curves do not have to be the same, as each engine has completely different requirements. This adaptation of the power curve is done with the camshaft bore, which is why it is so important.
The measurement of a camshaft profile is a rather difficult process to measure and therefore it is very difficult to predict the behavior of the engine with a given camshaft.
For this we have this machine and the specific software that shows us all the data of the camshaft with an accuracy impossible to perform otherwise, so with this data we can predict what distribution configuration is suitable for our engine even simulate different drafts.
