This high-performance kit is the ultimate solution to optimize the valvetrain of Yamaha CP3 (3-cylinder) engines. By combining oval-technology springs with ultra-light titanium retainers, you get superior valve control at high RPM and with aggressive cam profiles.

Grade 5 Titanium Retainers (Ultra-Light)

Made from Grade 5 titanium (top quality), these retainers drastically reduce the valvetrain’s reciprocating mass:

Original weight (steel): 7.0 g
Titanium weight: 4.4 g (37% reduction)
Optimized profile: They’re 0.75 mm shorter than stock, allowing more valve lift with no risk of contact with the oil seal and without needing to modify the valve guides.

Oval-Section Valve Springs

Made in Japan from Chrome-Silicon-Vanadium (Super Clean) alloy, they offer extreme fatigue resistance.

Oval technology: Allows higher pressures with less mechanical stress and a reduced solid height.
Progressive winding: Prevents harmonic resonance and valve “bounce” or float.
Surface treatment: Shot peening process and multi-stage heat treatment for extended service life in racing.

Kit Specifications:

Contents: 12 oval-section springs + 12 titanium retainers (6 intake / 6 exhaust) + 6 intake shims (1.0 mm).
Installed height: 32.0 mm (with supplied shims).
Seat pressure: 58 lb / 25.7 kgf.
Open pressure (10.0 mm): 139 lb / 61.8 kgf.
Recommended Max Lift: 0.395″ / 10.0 mm.
